The time when cats can be bred:

1. Normally, male cats start to come into estrus around 8 months old, while female cats start to come into estrus 1-2 months in advance.

2. Oriental cats of ordinary breeds are the earliest and mature after 6 months and can be mated. If they are rare breeds, they will develop very slowly, at least one year later.

3. Do not mate during the first estrus. At this time, the female cat’s physical development is not yet complete. If she becomes pregnant, it is very likely to have dystocia or stillbirth. It is recommended to mate during the second heat.

Things to note when breeding cats:

1. If they are purebred cats, they should choose the same breed for mating

3. Both male and female cats are sexually mature

4. Small female cats should not mate with large male cats.
