Symptoms of male Ragdoll cats in heat:

1. Male cats will show strong possessiveness and aggression. Male cats can often be seen standing in a standing posture. Spray urine on a vertical object with a twitching tail to mark the territory and attract the female cat.

2. Male cats will be very agitated when they are in heat, manifesting themselves as destroying furniture, scratching at doors and windows crazily in an attempt to escape, waiting for an opportunity to go out and find a suitable mating partner.

3. Ragdoll male cats will also become irritable, fighting, and possessive of territory when they are in heat.

Symptoms of female Ragdoll cats in estrus:

1. Female cats will howl loudly like a baby crying to attract other cats.

2. In the early stage, the female cat’s labia are split and the external genitalia are swollen; in the middle and early stages, the pubic hair separates and the labia are swollen into two large flaps, accompanied by white mucus.

3. The most obvious manifestation of the female cat in estrus is the raised buttocks. The front end of the body is lying on the ground, and the two legs at the back are straight and the buttocks are raised.

4. Cats in estrus will show a state of anxiety, frequent licking of the vagina, and loss of appetite.
