How to avoid feeding newborn cats:

1. Kittens cannot be fed milk as they are prone to diarrhea. It is best to use infant milk powder or goat milk. Dissolve 10 ml in a small amount of warm boiling water, inhale it into a small plastic eye drop bottle, and let the kitten lie on your hand to feed. Never let the cat lie on its back to feed. It can easily choke the lungs, cause damage, and inevitably refuse to eat.

2. Before and after each feeding, pay attention to gently touching its little butt with soft paper to stimulate urination, otherwise the bloated belly will cause suffocation. Note that these should be done multiple times a day, and it is best to gradually increase the amount of food fed. It is best to add food once at night.

3. Feeding through feeding tube. The easiest, cleanest, and fastest, but it requires the right tools and skilled technique to avoid milk pouring into your lungs. If the kitten is very weak, sometimes it can only be fed. Every time you feed your baby, it's a good idea to wipe the kitten's mouth with a warm wet tissue to remove any lost milk. Don't feed too much at once, especially at first. After feeding, use one hand or a dry towel to massage the cat's entire body, imitating the mother cat's movements, or pat the kitten on one side until it naps.

4. Apart from all other methods, the easiest one is to seek help from a pet hospital. You can go there to buy things to feed the kitten, or ask the pet hospital to help feed the kitten. In this way, the kitten may get better as long as it takes a day or two. As long as they can eat a little milk powder, they will change quickly.

Newborn cat care precautions:

1. Kittens cannot urinate on their own, so generally the mother cat will lick the kitten’s anus and urethra to promote excretion. At this time, the cat should imitate the mother cat and use wet and warm gauze or towel to gently massage the kitten's urethra and anus to help stimulate excretion.

2. You can use a paper box, sterilized cat cage, laundry basket, etc., put a towel or blanket on it, and set up a heat source to help the kitten keep warm. Because kittens cannot regulate their own body temperature within 4 weeks.
