Feline distemper monoclonal antibody refers to a feline distemper virus monoclonal antibody. It is a highly uniform antibody produced by a single β-cell clone and only targets the antigenic epitope of feline distemper virus. It can specifically bind to feline distemper virus to eliminate the virus in cats. Monoclonal antibodies are often used to treat feline distemper. This drug can be purchased by owners themselves and given to cats, or it can be injected by doctors in hospitals. However, it should be noted that when a cat suffers from feline distemper, it is not enough for us to just use monoclonal antibodies. We also need to carry out symptomatic treatment according to the cat’s symptoms to help the cat relieve the secondary symptoms caused by feline distemper.

The remaining treatment methods for cat plague:

1. Balance fluid replenishment and prevent acidosis. Infusion is the best treatment method. If the cat cannot be given infusion, you can feed it a mixture of 10% glucose injection and normal saline at regular intervals to help replenish energy and water.

2. Use antibiotics to prevent secondary infections. Commonly used antibiotics include gentamicin, and now there is also a new animal antibiotic called Pukansu.

3. Antivomiting. Metoclopramide injection is an excellent antiemetic and is important during treatment. It can be injected or taken orally.
