Cats are immunized for the first time and need 3 shots of cat triple vaccine and 1 shot of rabies vaccine. The interval between each injection of cat triple injection is about 21 days. After the third injection, the rabies vaccine should be given one week later. After that, cats need to receive a booster shot every eleven months, one shot of multiple vaccine and one shot of rabies vaccine. For 7 to 10 days after the vaccination, the cat cannot go out or take a bath until the vaccine takes effect and the cat develops antibodies.

You need to pay attention to the following points when cats are vaccinated:

1. Cats should be observed carefully after being vaccinated. Cats may experience fever, poor mental health, loss of appetite, lethargy, etc. after being vaccinated. These are normal reactions and will usually recover on their own in 1-3 days. If it exceeds three days, you should contact your doctor immediately for consultation.

2. Before injecting the vaccine, the cat can be vaccinated only if the cat’s mental state, appetite, and urine and feces are normal.

3. Pay attention to feeding after the cat is vaccinated. Generally, cats will have some loss of appetite after being vaccinated. However, do not force the cat to eat during this period. The cat should be given time to adjust and recover slowly, and do not feed at this time. Food that is too greasy.

4. Cats usually vaccinated against infectious diseases need to be over 8 weeks old, otherwise there may be residual maternal antibodies in the cat’s body, leading to immune failure.

5. If the cat develops sneezing, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea and other abnormal symptoms during the completion of the entire immunization program, it is recommended to suspend the vaccination and check and treat the cat’s symptoms first. Wait until the cat recovers before revacculating.
