Please don’t do cruel “plastic surgery” to your pets out of your own vanity!

As the overall economic level of the nation improves, many people have raised pets, with dogs and cats being the most common ones. With the continuous upgrading of pet consumption, various pet beauty and plastic surgery have begun to appear in people's sight. Some people are really willing to spend high prices to give their pets plastic surgery! What is the difference between owners thinking that making their pets more beautiful is actually cruelty?

There was a piece of news that impressed me deeply before. It was about giving a cat a plastic surgery and a double eyelid surgery. However, it was immediately clarified that this was not a plastic surgery, but a trichiasis surgery for the cat. It was not a surgery for the cat as reported. Plastic surgery really shocked people.

Although the double eyelid surgery is fake, there are still many unbelievable behaviors nowadays. We usually ask pets to go for grooming. It is just a simple bath and hair trimming. It does not affect the body. Some people are ignorant and selfish, so they do some very cruel behaviors to pets, which is unacceptable.

I think the following ones are unacceptable to me, except of course the ones in beauty contests. Just stay healthy and be with yourself. Why are you trying to be a monster?

 1

Broken tail

Tail docking may be familiar to many people, such as Teddy, Corgi, Cocker Spaniel, and Doberman. This has a certain relationship with their ancestors. Most of their ancestors were hunting dogs or working dogs. Having a tail will greatly affect their work.

Most dogs nowadays are kept as pets and do not require them to work, so there is no requirement to dock their tails. It all depends on the owner's preference.

Most tail docking is done a few days after birth, but some owners think it’s strange that other people’s dogs don’t have tails, but their own dogs do, so they think about docking their dogs’ tails. Some owners still have tail docking. Go to the hospital, or even more exaggeratedly, cut the dog's tail directly at home, or tie it directly to cause necrosis of the tail.

 2

Cutting ears

You can often see some dogs with their ears standing up, giving them a very majestic appearance. Dogs with cropped ears are mostly fierce dogs, fighting or hunting dogs, such as Doberman, Greyhound, Boxer, etc. People may think that fighting is inconvenient, running is not that fast, and pricked ears are more handsome.

There are also many Schnauzers who have their ears cropped because their owners think they look good and handsome after cropping their ears.

I don’t understand why my little baby has to be so handsome and stylish, just for the sake of appearance.Have you hurt the dogs wantonly? Have you ever thought about whether the dogs are in pain?

Declawing surgery

Declawing surgery is common among cats. Many cat owners feel that cats have sharp claws, have unpredictable tempers, always scratch people, and like to sharpen their claws on furniture. As soon as I heard about declawing surgery, I happily went to solve my troubles.

The so-called declawing surgery actually means cutting off the bones inside the claws, just like cutting off the outermost part of a human finger. How is this cutting nails? Is this a severed limb?

Last time, a fan also left a message saying that he saw an owner in a pet store who took his dog to have his nails pulled out just half a month later. It was really scary, and it hurts just thinking about it.

Vocal cord removal surgery

Some dogs like to bark, and their needs are not met. They usually bark non-stop after their owners leave home, which affects others and may be complained about. The owners also feel very irritated, so they think of this method, vocal cord surgery, to remove the bark. The dog's vocal cords are cut, so he can't make any sounds.

Not to mention the risks that the dog may encounter during the operation, as well as the respiratory diseases that may occur after the vocal cords are cut, etc., it is unnecessary and cruel to deprive the dog of its natural ability to communicate and vocalize. You are hurting the dogs!

There will still be many people who will perform the several surgeries I mentioned above on dogs and cats. Of course, pet hospitals will not refuse you. This is your need.

But are these surgeries really good for them? They are just ordinary pets. They don’t work or do beauty pageants. They just wait for you to come back and accompany you at home every day. Why should you let them suffer for your own selfish desires? What?

Isn’t it ignorant to think and act like this? It’s incomprehensible that a good dog has to undergo such unnecessary surgery and harm the dog’s body...
