Food residue will adhere to the dog's teeth and form dental plaque. Long-term accumulation will turn into dental calculus, causing bad breath and affecting oral health. Therefore, it is recommended to brush the dog's teeth frequently.

Item preparation:

Special toothbrush and toothpaste

Steps to brush your teeth:

1. First, a person needs to fix the dog's body, and then fix the dog's head. You can first let the dog lick a small amount of toothpaste, and then start brushing after getting used to it;

2. Use professional toothpaste and toothbrush finger cots, use your index finger and thumb to open the dog's lips, brush the left side first, then the right side, and brush the teeth for about one minute.

Note:

Although brushing teeth can significantly slow down the formation of dental calculus, it cannot cure it. If your dog has problems such as dental calculus, gingivitis, or bad breath, you need to go to the hospital for dental cleaning and treatment in time

It is impossible for dogs to fully cooperate with teeth cleaning, so general anesthesia is required. Dogs cannot eat or drink for 8 hours before teeth cleaning.

To reduce the risks of surgery, a simple physical examination can be done before anesthesia.

It is recommended that dogs brush their teeth every day. If time does not allow, you can also directly use tooth cleaning products such as mouthwash and dental cleaning sticks.

Human toothpaste cannot be used on dogs. We should buy dog-specific toothpaste.

Dry food is relatively hard and crunchy. When the dog bites the dry food, it can scrape the surface of the teeth clean.
