British shorthair requirements for indoor temperature

The British Shorthair's requirements for indoor temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees in winter and not higher than 35 degrees in summer. When the indoor temperature is lower than 5 degrees, the owner needs to turn on the air conditioner and floor heating to heat the room to prevent the cat from catching a cold. If the indoor temperature is higher than 35 degrees, the air conditioner must be turned on.

Control of ambient temperature is very important for newborn kittens. Because the body temperature of kittens in the first week after birth is 35-36°C, which is lower than that of adult cats, they must rely on the temperature of the environment to maintain their body temperature.
