Usually, when anthelmintic drugs enter the cat's intestines, they will stimulate the intestinal epithelial cells, leading to an imbalance in the intestinal flora structure, and the cat will suffer from diarrhea.

Causes of cat diarrhea after deworming:

1. Stress response. After the anthelmintics take effect, the parasites are stimulated, which may cause damage to the mucosa of the gastrointestinal lining, which can easily cause diarrhea and soft stools.

2. Excessive dosage. Using too much anthelmintic medicine will not only fail to achieve the best anthelmintic effect, but will also irritate the gastrointestinal tract and harm the body.

3. Fragile gastrointestinal tract. Some dogs and cats are born with fragile gastrointestinal tracts, especially young and elderly dogs and cats. They are prone to diarrhea when stimulated by drugs.
