Generally speaking, neutered male cats will not go into estrus. However, because the body may still contain a certain amount of male hormones, male cats will appear in estrus, but male cats will not become pregnant. If you find that the male cat still has symptoms of estrus after being neutered, it is recommended to take the male cat to the pet hospital to check the hormone levels in the body and feed the male cat with hormone-regulating drugs. Under normal circumstances, this situation will not last long and will ease in about two weeks, so the owner does not need to worry too much.

Precautions for sterilizing male cats:

1. Wear an Elizabethan ring. Prevent the cat from licking the wound and chewing the sutures.

2. The cat needs to be deprived of food and water for 24 hours before the operation, because the anesthetic will cause the cat to vomit, and if there is food, it will easily block the trachea and nasal cavity.

3. Keep warm after the operation to prevent the cat from catching cold.

4. Take a bath one week before the operation, and do not take a bath for one month after the operation.
