Both cat grass and hair removal cream can help cats expel coats that have been accidentally swallowed into the body to prevent the occurrence of hair balls, but there are still certain differences between the two. Hair removal cream can lubricate the cat's intestines so that the hair balls can be excreted directly with the feces, while cat grass stimulates gastrointestinal motility, thereby helping the cat to spit out the hair balls. Cat grass mainly uses cat grass itself to stimulate the stomach and help cats spit out hair. In addition, there are many hair-reducing snacks, which usually contain hair-removing cream or cat grass ingredients to achieve the effect of hair-removing.

Some foods have a hair-reducing effect, but the main reason is to increase the proportion of dietary fiber in the ingredients and the portion is not large. Especially for medium and long-haired cats, the hair-removing food alone may not be able to achieve a good hair removal effect. Therefore, it is still necessary to use hair-chemical products as a supplement.

If your cat is unwilling to eat hair removal cream, you can try mixing it into their food, or apply it on the cat's nose or paws and let them lick it themselves. Generally speaking, the feeding frequency of cat grass and hair removal cream does not need to be particularly high. If it is a long-haired cat, feed it 1-2 times a week, and short-haired cats can feed it once a week. If it is the moulting season or the hair vomiting situation is obvious, the feeding frequency can be appropriately increased.

Both hair removal cream and cat grass can help prevent hair ball disease. As for the choice, you can decide according to the cat's preference and actual use effect, as long as it is suitable for your cat.
