White discharge from the rabbit's eyes may be due to the following three reasons:

1. It is caused by infection. It may be that the hair around the rabbit's eyes gets infected inside the eyes, causing inflammation. You can simply trim the hair around the rabbit's eyes to ensure it's clean.

2. Caused by illness, it may be that the rabbit suffers from conjunctivitis. You can buy Tobrax or Tobramycin eye drops. After that, don't let the rabbit move around and don't let him open his eyes. Rest for a while first. If the rabbit is naughty, you can feed him some food in front of him.

3. Foreign body irritation. It may be that the rabbit's eyes are irritated by dust or other objects. Pay attention to eye care at ordinary times. Use a wet tissue to gently wipe the hair around the rabbit's eyes and wipe away the secretions from the corners of the eyes.

Measures to deal with eye inflammation in rabbits:

1. Cleaning

If the rabbit’s living environment is not tidy and the owner does not pay attention to daily cleaning , it is easy for foreign objects to enter the rabbit's eyes, causing inflammation and pus. The owner should pay attention to help the rabbit clean the foreign matter in the eyes in time. When cleaning, you can use a wet paper towel to wipe it gently to wipe out the foreign matter in the eyes.

Afterwards, the owner will keep the affected rabbit in another clean cage and place the rabbit in a ventilated and dry place. Then start cleaning the rabbit cage. If the rabbit's eyes are abnormal, it cannot be ruled out that the environment of the rabbit cage is poor and contains more bacteria. Therefore, the owner should clean the rabbit cage and disinfect it with disinfectant. The rabbit's daily necessities should also be cleaned. Clean and disinfect before exposing to the sun.

2. Clean the eyes

The accumulation of secretions in rabbit eyes will also cause rabbits to shed white secretions. After seeing mucus in the eyes of rabbits, pet owners should first use Moisten a cotton swab with saline and carefully clean the secretions from the rabbit's eyes. If there are tears, wipe the wet hair around the eyes as well, and then dry the hair with a tissue.

The rabbit may move around during cleaning, so be sure to secure the rabbit's body. Gently open the rabbit's eyelids and add a few drops of rabbit wood green to maintain normal physiological functions of the eyes. You should take good care of your eyes at ordinary times, and don't touch your eyes casually until your eyes are healed.

3. Pay attention to rabbit teeth

Rabbit teeth that are too long can also irritate the eyes, causing inflammation and pus in the eyes. Therefore, the owner should always pay attention to the length of rabbit teeth. If you find that the rabbit's teeth are too long, you need to deal with them immediately. You can take the rabbit to the pet hospital and let the doctor cut them short. Do not cut them yourself to avoid other problems.
