The color of the blood vessels in the eyes of some pigeons is red, so the eyes are red, which is a normal phenomenon. The middle pupil is black and belongs to the racing pigeon level. Some pigeons have yellow eyes, but they are not as good as red. The pigeon's eyes can tell the pigeon's health and IQ, so generally the pigeons with redder and richer eyes are more valuable.

There are two kinds of pupil colors in pigeon eyes, one is red and the other is black. Red pupils mostly appear on pigeons with white feathers and gray-white feathers; black pupils are the most common one and are found in most pigeons. The appearance in the eyes of some homing pigeons is also one that pigeon fanciers often study.
