What should you pay attention to when your cat arrives home on the first day?

After the new cat arrives home, find a relatively closed room and put the kitten in this room. Then put the cat food, water, cat litter, cat litter box, and sleeping cat nest in place. If possible, you can take some things with the scent of the kitten or its mother from the place where the kitten has been before and put them together.

Then let the kitten slowly explore the room. If it is a separate room, the door does not need to be closed. As long as it does not make loud noises that will frighten the cat, the cat owner can live as usual. The owner can feed the cat or talk to it from a distance, but do not force the cat to touch or hug the cat. The cat is very timid and should wait for it to approach on its own initiative.

If there are native cats at home, the situation mentioned above when a new cat arrives is basically the same. There's just one difference: the new cat's place must be isolated from the original cat, and the two must not meet. You can take things that the two cats have used each other to familiarize each other with each other's scent, and then slowly let each other get closer from far to near. Once a cat is found to have hairy hair or signs of fighting, the cat owner should isolate the cat again in time.

When a new cat arrives at home, as long as it is not scared, it will gradually feel comfortable in its new home. In short, don't force it, but do it step by step.
