Things to note when buying a Chow Chow:

1. The head should be relatively broad and flat, and the head should be narrow and wedge-shaped, axe-shaped or triangular, usually a mixed breed. Cannot be selected.

2. The tongue should be blue. If the tongue is red or pink or has red spots, it is a mixed breed and cannot be purchased.

3. The ears should be small and triangular, upright and slightly tilted forward. The distance between the ears should be wide. The kind of ears that are large and droop downward should not be selected.

4. The nose is large and wide, with open nostrils. The eyes are slightly slanted and almond-shaped. The eyes and surroundings and the tip of the nose should be dark brown or black.

5. Kiss wider. When the mouth is closed, the upper lip covers the lower lip. Gums and lips should be black. Teeth should be flat with a scissor bite.

6. The neck should be strong and plump, and the trunk, back, buttocks, and limbs should be short. The chest is broad and deep, and the waist is muscular.

7. The limbs should be short and strong, with good standing posture, straight forelimbs, thick bones, strong bones and plump muscles of the hind limbs, cat-shaped toes, and thick pads.

8. The tail root is high, and the tail is rolled up to the back. The tail has long and fluffy feathers, and the appearance is beautiful and generous.
