Four major reasons for failure in dog training:

1. The owner lacks patience. Dogs are extremely humane animals with high intelligence, but some behaviors exceed the dog’s cognition. If the owner fails to find the correct training method and cannot achieve the desired results, he will give up midway.

2. Lack of understanding. Dogs and humans do not speak the same language. Sometimes dogs are indifferent to commands conveyed by their owners. That is because they simply do not understand what their owners mean.

3. Dogs are inattentive. Dogs are particularly easily distracted. They remain curious about everything around them. During training, they focus on other places and fail to listen carefully to their owners, resulting in failed training.

4. Different standards. If the owner's requirements are different every time he is trained, the dog will not be able to tell which one to follow, which will lead to training failure.

Notes on dog training:

1. When training a dog, you cannot lose your temper with the dog, let alone hit the dog, as this will be counterproductive. The dog will become more disobedient.

2. If the dog does well, reward the dog in a timely manner in the way the dog likes. This will form a positive feedback, which can make the dog do better and better.

3. When training a dog, pay attention to the training intensity. If the training intensity is too high, the dog’s body will not be able to bear it. About half an hour each time is appropriate.
