How to select a chinchilla cage:

1. Breeders need to choose a cage of appropriate size. A cage that is too small will make the chinchilla feel depressed, and a cage that is too big will cause the chinchilla to feel depressed. It will increase the difficulty for the breeder to clean up, so the size of the cage for small dogs is generally appropriate. If appropriate, a higher layer can be added to prevent the chinchilla from being unable to stretch out.

2. When choosing a cage, you must pay attention to the material of the cage. Be sure to choose a non-toxic and harmless one, because chinchillas will chew their own cages when they lack molar sticks. From the appearance point of view, wooden cages are better than wire cages, and in terms of cost performance, wire cages are very economical.

3. As accessories for the cage, you can choose an ice box to prevent heatstroke in summer, or you can add a device to prevent cold in winter, which can effectively prevent chinchillas from getting sick due to temperature problems.

4. There must be a tray under the cage that can be used to place bedding, which can make it easier for the breeder to clean and also keep the chinchilla itself clean.

5. If you raise multiple chinchillas at the same time, you can choose a cage that looks like a bookshelf. There are ventilation holes between each small square, allowing multiple chinchillas to feel each other's scent. Reduce their loneliness.
