I’m desperate, how can I treat ear mites in cats so that they don’t recur?

Cat ear mites are parasites that live in the ear canal of cats. There are two main types: ear itch mites and ear scabies mites. If a cat is infected, a large amount of reddish-brown and dark-brown dirt will appear in its ears. The cat's ears will be particularly itchy, causing it to scratch its ears frequently or shake its head constantly. At this time, the owner must take measures to help the cat get rid of ear mites in time!

1. Isolate well

Ear mites are highly contagious, and cats can easily become infected if they come into contact with them. If one cat in a multi-cat household gets ear mites, it must be isolated from other healthy cats to avoid cross-infection.

2. Clean the ears

First use Vic ear bleach to clean the cat’s ears. After cleaning the dirt in the ears, apply it on the ear skin. This medicine is effective against bacteria, fungi and parasites. If your cat's ear mites are serious, you can take itraconazole capsules orally at the same time to completely kill the fungus. If it's not serious, you don't need to take it.

3. Regular deworming

You can use Bioline to deworm your cat once a month. This deworming drug has many types of deworming. Common parasites such as cat ear mites, fleas, ticks, tapeworms, roundworms, and hookworms can all be killed. External drops are also relatively simple to use. Just drop the liquid on the skin of the cat’s shoulder and neck area.
