All poop collectors know that cats spitting out hair balls is the only way for cats to grow up, and eating cat grass is helpful for cats to spit out hair balls; therefore, cat grass is also very popular in the market. The method of cultivating cat grass is not difficult. There are two methods: hydroponics and soil culture. However, both methods require soaking and germination first, which will help the cat grass grow faster. It can usually be harvested in three days.

1. Hydroponics

Select some plump cat grass seeds and soak them in clean water for about 8 hours; after soaking, cover the prepared seedling tray with absorbent paper and wet it with water; then spread the seeds on them. After the cat grass buds grow, place the seedling tray in a place with sufficient light to allow better photosynthesis. Another thing to note is that although the method is hydroponics, the amount of water should not be too much and the depth should not exceed the roots, otherwise it will easily become moldy. If you find a moldy area, discard it and remove the surrounding areas to avoid affecting the normal cat grass seedlings.

2. Soil cultivation

Cat grass does not pick up soil, as long as it is loose and breathable. First, spread the soaked seeds evenly on the soil, making sure the seeds are spread flat; water them thoroughly after spreading, and then cover the seeds with about 0.5-1 cm of soil. During the growth period, cat grass only needs to be watered every 1-2 days to ensure that the soil is moist; and no fertilization is required. Cat grass grows very quickly, and it can be harvested after the seedlings grow to 10 cm.
