Symptoms of taeniasis in dogs:

1. There are no obvious clinical symptoms when the infected dog is mildly infected, but only unexplained abdominal discomfort.

Treatment methods for dog tapeworms:

1. Praziquantel, 20 mg/kg body weight, taken orally once, and again every 5 days.

2. Albendazole, 10-15 mg/kg body weight, once a day for 3 days.

3. Mebendazole, 100 mg/kg body weight, once orally.

4. Mebendazole, 20 mg/kg body weight, once orally.

Preventive measures for dog tapeworms:

1. Strengthen feeding and management and keep the kennel clean.

2. Regular deworming, once a quarter.

3. Strengthen feces management to prevent human infection.
