Treatment methods for cat ringworm:

1. To treat cat ringworm, you can generally take griseofulvin, 50 mg per kilogram of body weight, 2-3 times a day. Take divided doses for at least 3-4 weeks.

2. Clotrimazole ointment, compound benzoic acid ointment, sulfur ointment, 2% miconazole nitrate hydrophilic ointment and tinea net can also be applied to the affected area.

3. During the treatment period, add 4 ml of vegetable oil to the cat’s food every day to promote the absorption of oral drugs. Local corticosteroid treatment can also be used.

Symptoms of ringworm in cats:

1. Red marks similar to coins will appear on the cat.

2. The cat has symptoms such as hair loss and itching.

3. After the disease, the fungus will attack the hair follicles, causing the coat to break, die and fall off, causing the skin to appear like a mark burned by a cigarette butt. If exposed to ultraviolet light, a ring will appear.
