The coat color of Siamese cats changes with temperature and age. The lower the temperature, the darker the color of Siamese cats. The higher the temperature, the whiter (lighter) the color. Usually, kittens are born white because the uterus is very warm. As they grow, the coat color will change from completely white to light brown. Then the coat color will begin to change in the nose, ears, tail, and limbs where the body temperature is lower. become darker. The entire face of some Siamese cats is dyed dark brown by pigment, while the parts of the body with higher body temperature remain light brown or grayish white.

The traditional four colors of Siamese cats:

1. Seal key color. The coat is creamy yellow, the body color is seal color, and the key color is dark seal color. Seal point color is the most common color among Siamese cats, which is the original color of Siamese cats. As the temperature gets colder, the head, limbs, tail and part of the body of the seal-point Siamese cat will gradually turn black.

2. Blue key color. The body is white, gradually turning light blue from the back, with the key color being blue-gray with blue spots.

3. Chocolate key color. The body is white and the key color is chocolate. The biggest feature of chocolate-colored points is that only the nose, limbs and the root of the tail will turn black (chocolate color), and the other parts will be pure white, instead of becoming black or gray like seal points and blue points.

4. Lilac key color. The body is light peach with beige, the key color is pinkish gray, the chest and lower jaw are white, slight markings are allowed on the tail, but dark colors are not allowed.
