The general estrus period of Ragdoll cats is about 8 months. There will be differences between individuals, but the difference will not be too big. Normally, it is not recommended to breed Ragdoll cats for the first time in estrus. This is the time. Ragdoll cats have only reached physical maturity but not sexual maturity. After the cat reaches 1 year old and goes into heat for the second time, breeding can be considered at this time.

Things to note when breeding Ragdoll cats:

1. Whether the cat is over 1 year old, healthy, and fertile.

2. Whether it is authentic and purebred.

3. Does the owner also have many other cats, and does he have an elegant mating environment?

4. Whether the marriage is between close relatives. Before mating, a health check should be carried out to check whether vaccinations have been carried out, whether there are skin diseases, fleas and ear ticks, and a stool examination to see if there are parasites.

5. Don’t miss the opportunity to conceive. After the Ragdoll cat reaches the estrus period, the female cat owner should get in touch with the male cat owner immediately. It takes one night to make a blind date, and it takes 2-3 days for a female cat to get to know each other's family, so she should be taken to her husband's house early. The third and fourth days of estrus are the easiest.
