Things to note a few hours after cat sterilization:

1. Keep warm: If it is winter, you can also put a hot water bottle with an appropriate temperature next to the cat.

2. Moisturizing the eyeballs: Take out the prepared eye drops and instill them regularly until the cat wakes up.

3. Anesthesia recovery: It usually takes 3-5 hours to wake up after surgery, which varies according to different physical conditions. Some cats can wake up in 1 hour, while others may be comatose for a whole day. Before the cat wakes up from anesthesia, the owner should try to stay with the cat and not leave it for a long time. Pay attention to observe whether the cat's heartbeat, body temperature, and breathing are normal. If there are any abnormalities, contact the doctor in time.

4. Care after waking up: As soon as the cat wakes up, it will stagger around and the owner should stay closely with him to prevent the cat from being injured by collision.

5. Before the cat wakes up, you should let it lie down and take it home without holding it. Cats will urinate once after waking up, with a large amount, and because they are still confused, they may not excrete in the litter box. At this time, the owner cannot use threats to stop them, but should protect and guide them in time. Some cats may urinate with blood or orange-red color. This is normal and there is no need to worry too much, but their subsequent excretion should also be closely observed.
