Methods for caring for cats with colds:

1. Wipe the cat’s face more often. Cats will have secretions in their mouth, nose and eyes after catching a cold. The accumulation of secretions will make them uncomfortable, so you should always use a warm towel or wet tissue to wipe their face.

2. Isolation. If there are children or other animals at home, the sick cat should be isolated to prevent the cold from spreading to them.

3. You can use a pet-specific thermometer needle to measure the cat’s temperature. If the cat has a fever, it should be sent to a pet hospital for fever reduction treatment by a doctor.

4. Cats are relatively weak when they have a cold. You can give your cat some goat milk powder, nutritional paste, broth, meat porridge and other foods to supplement body nutrition and enhance its resistance.

Causes of cat colds:

1. The cat’s own resistance is insufficient, the weather suddenly changes, and cold air crosses, leading to colds.

2. After giving the cat a bath, the cat’s hair was not dried in time, and the cat was later exposed to cold air.
