Cats can eat fruits, but not all fruits are poisonous to cats. Oranges, oranges, and grapefruits are acidic fruits and should not be eaten by cats. Long-term consumption will cause cell necrosis and vomiting in cats. Certain components in grapes can cause cats to vomit repeatedly, and excessive levels of potassium in carambola can cause acute renal failure in cats. Cats cannot eat these fruits. Before feeding your cat fruit, you must do your homework and do not feed your cat too much fruit.

Things that cats cannot eat:

1. Green onions, onions and leeks. These foods contain an ingredient that can destroy cats’ red blood cells, causing symptoms such as anemia, diarrhea, hematuria, vomiting and fever.

2. Chocolate. Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, and excessive intake can cause acute poisoning in cats.

3. Avocado. Avocados contain a chemical toxin that is very harmful to cats. It can cause digestive tract problems, difficulty breathing, and high fever. Ingestion of large amounts can cause cats to die.

4. Pickled products. The salt content in salted fish and cured meat is too high, and cats don’t like to drink water. Feeding them can easily lead to sodium poisoning.

5. Xylitol. Xylitol can cause cats to experience seizures and liver failure within a day or so of poisoning.
