Methods to prevent cat scabies:

1. Avoid direct contact with infected cats, and regularly inject external insecticide drops.

2. While treating, thoroughly disinfect the cattery to kill eggs in the external environment and prevent repeated infections.

3. Regularly deworm the skin, and if the skin is damaged, apply medicine in time.

Treatment of cat scabies:

1. First clean the affected area with warm soapy water to remove scabs and dirt.

2. Wash the affected area with 5% formaldehyde solution twice a week until the condition is cured.

3. Give the affected cat a whole-body medicinal bath with 2% trichlorfon solution once a week. Because cats have the habit of licking their fur, the concentration of the solution should not be too high.

4. Subcutaneously inject 0.1mL of insect killer. In order to kill the larvae and eggs under the epidermis, inject again after 7 days.

5. Due to bacterial infection in the affected part of the sick cat, penicillin was injected intramuscularly once a day for 5 days. Two weeks later, the sick cat began to grow hair at the hair loss area.
