Dog fever symptoms:

1. The normal body temperature of dogs is between 37.5 and 38.5 degrees. The temperature of puppies will be higher. If the temperature exceeds 39.5 degrees, it means he really has a fever.

2. If you find that your dog is panting abnormally and breathing rapidly, it is likely that the dog is sick and has a fever.

3. Observe whether the dog’s nose is very dry or accompanied by a runny nose. If so, it may be a fever.

Treatment methods for dog fever:

1. If the dog has an appetite, you can drink more water and speed up the dog’s urination to lower the body temperature.

2. When you find that your dog has a fever, you must send it to the doctor immediately. Don’t delay, otherwise you may lose your dog.

3. After the dog has a fever and is sent to the hospital for treatment, wipe the dog's foot pads, belly and ears with alcohol at regular intervals, and put an ice pack on the dog's belly. Pick it up after a minute, put it back on after a while, and repeat.

4. Not active, lethargic, and lack of energy even when going out to play.
