Causes of hematuria in cats:

1. Urinary tract stones and bladder stones stimulate the mucous membrane of the urinary system, leading to mucosal ulceration and bleeding in urine.

2. There may also be diseases such as urethritis and cystitis. Due to inflammatory stimulation, the urine may contain blood and pus.

3. There may also be bladder trauma, genital orifice trauma, etc. Urinary bleeding is usually caused by impact or stabbing with sharp objects.

Solutions to cats with hematuria:

1. If it is caused by stones, drug treatment is required to expel the stones and solve the problem.

2. If it is caused by urinary tract inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatment, drugs or injections are needed to resolve the inflammation.

3. If it is caused by trauma, the cat’s trauma needs to be treated to prevent further infection.
