Steps to "beautify" your dog:

1. Comb the hair. Before bathing, use a comb to remove dead hair and knots on the dog's body to promote blood circulation and make the dog's hair soft, clean and shiny.

2. Plug out ear hair. Common dog breeds that require ear hair plucking include imperial concubine, Shih Tzu and Schnauzer.

3. Cut toenails. On average, your dog’s toenails need to be trimmed once every two weeks. Properly trim and smooth the blood line according to its length, and can effectively prevent scratching the owner.

4. Take a bath. The bath water temperature should be between 35°C and 45°C, and use pet-specific shampoo. Generally, long-haired dogs are washed once a week, and short-haired dogs are washed once every 2-3 weeks.

5. Dry and blow hair. After drying with an absorbent towel, dry it thoroughly with a hair dryer. You can comb your hair while blow-drying to make it fluffy and natural.

6. Trim hair. Trim the miscellaneous hair around the dog's eyes that affects vision, excessively long hair on the soles of the feet, excessively long hair on the abdomen and buttocks, etc.

Dog grooming tools:

1. Comb. For dogs, you should prepare a wide-tooth comb and a fine-tooth comb.

2. A comb. The function of a comb is to comb off the lower layer of fluff that has fallen off a short-haired dog.

3. Scissors. It is best to choose scissors with rounded blade ends to avoid accidentally pricking the dog’s skin.

4. Nail clippers. Dogs’ nails are often tools they use to make noise. In order to eliminate noise and for hygiene reasons, dogs’ nails must be clipped regularly.
