Rabbits cannot drink tap water. Tap water contains a component called chlorine, which is harmful to organisms. For rabbits without immunity, drinking tap water is prone to diarrhea, which may lead to dehydration in severe cases. Therefore, it is best for the owner to feed the rabbit clean and pure water, and also control the amount of water, because the vegetables it eats contain water, so there is no need to drink a lot of water.

Notes on feeding rabbits water:

1. Feed water according to food intake. If the bunny eats a lot of food such as hay, you need to feed the bunny more water. If it eats a lot of vegetable food, you don’t need that much water.

2. Feed boiled water. The water you feed your rabbit must be clean boiled water. Drinking raw water will cause the rabbit's stomach to be intolerable because there are many bacteria in the raw water.

3. Prepare a water feeding container. The container for feeding water to the bunny must be relatively shallow and heavy. This will make it easier for the bunny to drink water and will not cause the bunny to knock over the container and wet itself, which can reduce the chance of the bunny getting sick.
