Preventing the occurrence of dog summer syndrome:

1. Water should be provided to pets throughout the day, and the water should be changed every day to keep the water clean. When you go out for a walk with your dog, don’t forget to bring them water and a water bowl.

2. If you must turn on the air conditioner, you can adjust the air conditioner to a suitable temperature to keep the room cool. Remember not to blow the air conditioner for a long time, just turn it on regularly.

3. In summer, it is usually enough to take a bath once every 9-14 days. High-frequency bathing will destroy the acid-base balance of the dog's skin surface, thus increasing the probability of the dog suffering from skin diseases.

What to do after a dog suffers from heat stroke in summer:

1. After the dog suffers from heat stroke, move it to a ventilated and cool place in time. You can use a fan to blow the dog.

2. Wet the dog with running cold water, making sure the water pressure is low. Do not completely submerge the dog under the water, because it will lose its temperature quickly, which may lead to other complications. Make sure the water is not too cold, as very cold water constricts blood vessels and prevents cooling.

3. Once the temperature drops below 39°, take him to the veterinarian. On the way to the vet, turn on your car's air conditioner and windows, or prepare a small fan to help cool your dog.
