The reasons why cats like to get into closed spaces:

1. When cats feel cold, they will look for closed spaces to get into to keep out the cold and keep warm.
2. When a cat just enters a new environment and feels scared, it will also hide in a closed space, which will make it feel safe.
3. When cats are anxious and irritable, they will also get into enclosed spaces to relieve stress.
4. When a cat is threatened or frightened, it will hide in a closed space and instinctively protect itself.

5. Cats getting into enclosed spaces are more conducive to hunting and catching prey. This is the cat’s predatory instinct.
