Causes of hair loss in rabbits:

1. Malnutrition. The feed contains insufficient fiber, and some rabbits suffer hair loss due to lack of trace elements calcium, phosphorus, especially minerals such as magnesium, or lack of A and B vitamins and sulfur-containing amino acids.

2. Physiological reasons. Rabbits will shed a lot of hair in spring and autumn and during the lanugo period. This is normal seasonal hair loss.

3. Bath frequently. Due to the selection of inappropriate detergents when bathing rabbits, and the high frequency of bathing, it is more likely to cause serious dehydration of the rabbit's skin, damage the skin, and cause hair loss.

4. Infection with parasites. Scabies can cause hair loss in many parts of the body. In addition to hair loss, the disease is usually accompanied by symptoms of itching and scabies.

5. Pregnancy. Before giving birth, pregnant rabbits will pluck their own hair to make a nest for the baby to be born.
