Map turtles are omnivores and can eat snails, insects, crayfish and other foods that are suitable for the gastrointestinal digestion and absorption of map turtles. When map turtles are young, breeders can only feed them turtle food and chicken. Only when map turtles grow up can they be fed other foods. When feeding map turtles meat food, it needs to be steamed and sterilized at high temperature before feeding. Avoid raw meat carrying parasites and germs, which may cause infection after being eaten by map turtles.

What map turtles cannot eat:

1. They cannot eat foods that are too nutritious, such as egg yolks, cucumbers, artificial meat, etc. Try not to feed them. This type of food can easily cause indigestion or liver and kidney damage in turtles.

2. Do not eat foods with high salt content, such as ham, seafood, etc., as the body mechanism cannot metabolize them.

3. The food you feed should not contain thorns or bones to avoid injury to the turtle. It is best to feed fresh raw meat. The cooked meat becomes hard. Turtles do not like to eat hard things.
