The bamboo rat does not recognize its owner. The bamboo rat is an animal in the class Mammalia, order Rodentia, family Bamboozoidae, and genus Bamboo Rat. It is named after eating bamboo. Although bamboo rats are not very intelligent, they cannot recognize their owners. Bamboo rats can judge things through their sense of smell, touch, and hearing. If they are raised from a young age or even stroked frequently, they will be familiar with the owner's taste, but this does not mean that the bamboo rats recognize their owners.

Notes on bamboo rat breeding:

1. In terms of breeding environment. Bamboo rats are resistant to low temperatures and are timid. They like to grow in a dark, cool, quiet and pollution-free environment. The breeding site should be selected in a place with high geothermal heat, good drainage, facing north and south, away from densely populated areas with humans and livestock, and places with chicken manure.

2. On the site and in the nest. Small-scale breeding can be carried out under the fence of your own yard or in an open space, or you can use an idle old building or an abandoned warehouse to build a rat nest. It requires dark light, a solid ground, and smooth interior walls.

3. In daily feed management. Bamboo rats have strong digestion capabilities for plant feeds and can digest crude fiber and lignin. Grain feeds can be fed with corn and sweet potatoes.
