Foods that you can safely share with your dog:

1. Pumpkin. Fresh pumpkin, whether steamed or cooked (or canned 100% pumpkin), is relatively low in calories and high in soluble fiber, which is good for dogs with gastrointestinal upset.

2. Blueberry. Blueberries are available year-round and make a great snack for dogs while training. Blueberries are rich in phytochemicals and antioxidants, and are also an excellent source of fiber, manganese, and vitamins C and E. A dog weighing 10 pounds should eat 2-4 blueberries as a snack every day.
