Wild budgies will recognize their owners. Budgies have relatively high IQs. As long as the owner feeds them scientifically and plays with them regularly, the budgies will soon recognize their owners. But in China, it is illegal to raise wild parrots. If you want to raise parrots, you can raise artificially bred budgerigars.

How to train a budgerigar to recognize its owner:

1. A budgerigar that has just returned home should rest first and do not interact with it in a hurry to avoid stress reactions in the parrot. After the parrot becomes familiar with the environment, the owner can move within about one meter of the bird cage to let the parrot become familiar with the owner's presence.

2. It is easier for the owner to feed the budgies in person, making it easier to develop feelings for them. The owner can slowly put his hand into the cage, and after the budgie adapts, he can put food on his hand to feed the parrot, and then try to touch the budgie. After a while, when the owner puts his hand into the cage, the budgerigar will jump onto the owner's hand.

3. Put the budgerigar in a room without a cage, catch the parrot repeatedly, and then release the parrot. After catch-and-release training, the parrot will gradually let down its guard against the owner.
