Newborn puppies cannot be bathed. The resistance of newborn puppies is very weak. Any environmental and temperature stimulation will cause the puppies to suffer from vomiting, diarrhea, high fever and other diseases. In serious cases, the puppies' lives will be endangered. The first bath for a puppy should be 1-2 weeks after vaccination.

How to take care of a newborn puppy:

1. Keep warm. The room temperature should be kept above 23°C. If the temperature is lower than 21°C, electric blankets, hot water bottles, etc. should be used to keep them warm, but they must be wrapped in towels and do not touch the puppies directly to prevent the puppies from being scalded.

2. When the puppy is about 20 days old, you can trim the nails of the puppy to prevent the puppy from scratching the mother dog’s abdomen when feeding. But don’t cut your nails too short, just cut off the front fingertips.

3. When taking care of puppies, you should also pay attention to the health of the mother. Feed the mother some nutritious food to avoid insufficient milk and affect the health of the puppies.
