The lorikeet recognizes its owner. Lorikeets are relatively intelligent birds that can identify their owners by their sounds. If the owner gives it water and food every day, takes time to play with it, interacts with it and gets close to it, then the lorikeet will quickly recognize the eater as its owner. After recognizing its owner, the lorikeet is very affectionate and likes to play in the owner's hands or jump on the owner's shoulders. It will not fly around when placed on the table.
How a lorikeet recognizes its owner:
1. After a lorikeet recognizes its owner, it will flap its wings, chirp or speak the moment it sees the owner. Impulsive and eager to get food or snacks from their owners.
2. If the lorikeet is not the owner but is approached by a stranger, the lorikeet may hide.
